8 easy yoga poses to strengthen core muscles

Here are eight yoga poses that target the core muscles and can be practiced at various skill levels:

Plank Pose (Phalakasana): Start in a push-up position with your hands shoulder-width apart and shoulders stacked over wrists.

Boat Pose (Navasana): Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.

Side Plank Pose (Vasisthasana): Start in a plank position, then shift your weight onto your right hand and the outer edge of your right foot.

Warrior III (Virabhadrasana III): Start in a standing position with your feet hip-width apart.
