 Effective ways to reduce uric acid levels naturally

Eating excessive amounts of purine rich foods is a big cause for experiencing high uric acid levels. So, limit the consumption of red meat, fish, organ meat etc. which contains high amount of purine.

Reduce the intake of foods that contain fructose, a natural sugar. As the body breaks down fructose, it releases purine which again leads to higher uric acid levels.

Your favourite beverages can also turn out to be unhealthy for you. Drinking beverages that contain high sugar content can again be responsible for high uric acid levels. So try avoiding it or drink black coffee instead. 

Avoid the consumption of alcohol because of their high purine content.

Start including more fibre rich foods in your diet like nuts, oats, broccoli etc. as they will help reduce uric acids in the body.

Obesity is another big reason for developing more uric acids in the body. So, if you are obese, losing weight becomes essential for you to curb uric acids from forming.

Start drinking more water as it is effective in excreting the uric acids from your body.
