This asana strengthens the whole body. It lengthens and strengthens our neck and shoulder muscles.
This position relaxes shoulders and expands arms. This asana requires palms on the mat or beneath your feet.
The cat-cow stance helps us relax, concentrate on our breath, and align our spine with our breathing. This back-strengthening asana relieves tension.
Hips store stress and tighten as we age. Splitting hurts because those muscles are tense and constricted.
Neck stretching relieves shoulder and neck stress. Practise this in the morning and after work.
