The Delhi Transport Department has boosted bus service frequency between Shivaji Stadium, near Connaught Place, and Dhoolsiras.

In a recent initiative, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot flagged off two new routes, 892 STL and 892 SPL, to enhance public transport in south-west Delhi.

This includes a dedicated school route, 892 SPL, connecting Dhoolsiras village to Chhawla School.

Designed for schoolchildren, this route spans 6.5 km and features air-conditioned CNG buses running two trips each morning and afternoon to align with students’ schedules.

Managed by DIMTS, the 892 STL route will cover nearby areas, including Dwarka Sector 10 and the BSF Camp, on a 19 km loop.

Helping residents of villages and underserved regions access clean and reliable transport. Gahlot noted that this initiative aims to offer efficient and eco-friendly transit options,.

This service plans to expand similar services citywide in the future.
