7 simple yoga poses for backache

Many people often experience back pain or backache these days. It mainly occurs by sitting at a place for long hours.

If you’re dealing with back pain, some yoga poses may help relieve your backache.

Cobra Pose or bhujangasana: Practicing this pose strengthens your spine and may also help to relieve stress that can accompany back pain.

Bridge Pose or setu bandha: The pose stretches the spine and it may relieve backaches.

Child’s Pose or balasana: This also stretches your hips, thighs, and ankles.

Corpse pose or shavasana: It is one of the simple yoga poses to reduce back pain. It helps relax spinal cord and back muscles.

Cat-cow pose or chakravakasana: It involves moving spine from a rounded position and targets spine and abdominals.

Extended Triangle or trikonasana: This posture may help alleviate backache, sciatica, and neck pain.

Sphinx Pose or bhujangasana: This gentle backbend strengthens your spine and buttocks.
