Apple

 Apples contain the antioxidant quercetin, are high in fiber and are lower in sugar. 

Avocado

While higher in calories than other fruits and vegetables, avocadoes are a great source of healthy fats.

Berries

Blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are loaded with antioxidants and fibre and help improve blood sugar. 

Green vegetables

Greens essentially have no calories and carbs, but are rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre. 

Yogurt

Greek yogurt has more protein than regular yogurt. It improves bone and gut health.  

Green tea

It contains chemicals and food enzymes that may be able to prevent heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants found in tea include the special catechin EGCG.

Mushrooms

In addition to being a fantastic meat alternative, mushrooms are also a wonderful source of antioxidants and vitamin D.
