Testosterone is considered the number one male hormone. Hence, it's important to know foods that may lower your testosterone levels.

Vegetable oils: They contain high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids. High amounts of such fats may lower testosterone levels.

Sugar: High amounts of sugar, including white sugar, might affect your testosterone level.

Baked items: Men are likely to have low testosterone levels if they consume high amounts of baked items, according to a study.

Soy: It is often considered a healthy protein alternative, but contains phytoestrogens which mimic estrogen in the body.

Nuts: Nuts like peanuts can be high in the amino acid L-arginine. High levels of L-arginine may increase cortisol levels, which could lower testosterone.

Mint: Certain compounds found in mint, including menthol, have anti-androgenic effects, which may reduce testosterone production.

Trans Fat: It is found in fried and processed foods. It may cause inflammation and insulin resistance, leading to reduced testosterone levels.

Alcohol: High alcohol consumption may reduce testosterone levels as it is known to increase conversion of testosterone into estrogen.
