Diabetes: Best dry fruits to lower blood sugar levels in summer

Apricots: Dried apricots have a low GI score of 30 to 32. 

Walnuts: They are high in omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, and antioxidants. 

Dates: Dry dates have enormous dietary fibre, which promotes satiety and controls sugar levels .

Prunes: Prunes are dried plums with 6.2 grams of fibre in a 1/2 cup serving, and are helpful for diabetics. 

Raisins: It also has a GI score of 54 to 66, making raisins a low to medium glycemic index dried fruit.

Figs: Due to their low to moderate GI, figs don’t raise blood glucose.

Pistachios: Pistachios are packed with protein, fibre, healthy fats, and antioxidants, which lowers blood sugar.

Almonds: They are also helpful for people with diabetes.
