Indian spices, herbs that prevent cancer, heart attack

Cinnamon: Half teaspoon of cinnamon reduces risk of cancer and other diseases. 

Ginger: This spice has medicinal qualities that lowers cholesterol, boost metabolism and destroys cancer cells. 

Turmeric: This has polyphenol Curcumin that prevents prostrate cancer, melanoma, breast cancer, brain tumour, heart diseases etc.

Pepper: An indian spice with anti-cancer properties, and is also good for heart.

Saffron: A dicarboxylic acid called 'Crocetin' is the key cancer-fighting compound that is in saffron.

Cumin: A spice with anti-oxidant characteristics, cumin seeds has 'Thymoquinone' that prevents cancer. 

Fennel: 'Anethole', a major compound of fennel combats heart disease and cancer cells.
