The Ambani family, Asia's wealthiest, resides in the iconic Antilla, a 27-floor architectural wonder situated in Mumbai.

Their ancestral roots trace back to Chorwad, a scenic seaside village in Gujarat's Junagadh district, where their century-old ancestral home is located.

Dhirubhai Ambani, the visionary founder of Reliance Industries, was born in this ancestral home, steeped in history and heritage.

The two-story mansion underwent a transformation into a memorial in 2011, preserving its original architecture while showcasing Dhirubhai Ambani's living quarters with authentic furnishings and artifacts.

Despite renovations, the essence of the ancestral property's architecture, including its enormous doors, window entrances, and overall elevation, has remained intact.

The extensive renovations, reportedly costing between 4-5 crore, were overseen by the architectural firm Abhikram & Amitabh Teaotia Designs, ensuring the preservation of historical integrity.

The memorial house features a small theatre screening a film depicting Dhirubhai Ambani's remarkable life journey, offering visitors a glimpse into his legacy and achievements.

Inaugurated in 2011, the Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial House is divided into two parts, with one section accessible to the public. It welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an entry fee of Rs 2.
