The auspicious festival of Krishna Janmashtami is just around the corner. This year the festival will be celebrated on August 26 and 27. During this festival devotees offer traditional bhog to deity. Here are 8 bhog which you can offer.

Makhan: It holds a special significance in Lord Krishna's life as he is famously known as "Makhan Chor" . Butter symbolises purity and innocence.

Peda: It is a traditional Indian sweet, popular offering to Lord Krishna during festivals, symbolising devotion and love.

Panjiri: It is a nutritious Indian sweet made with whole wheat flour, sugar, ghee, and dry fruits. It is offered to deities as a symbol of well-being, nourishment, and prosperity.

Kheer: It is a comforting and auspicious dessert often offered to deities as a symbol of prosperity and well-being.

Sabudana khichdi: Offering sabudana khichdi to Lord Krishna symbolises humility, simplicity, and purity of heart.

Coconut ladoo: It is a popular sweet made from coconut, sugar, and condensed milk. It signifies purity, simplicity, and the essence of devotion when offered to Lord Krishna.

Makhana Paag: It is a crunchy sweet dish made with ghee, makhana and sugar syrup. Offering this dish to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami symbolises devotion
