Sprawling pics of space captured by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory

The telescope took 64 days and 370 observations to beautifully and carefully capture a pic of the Milky Way's center.

Other pics feature nebulae, like the crimson red of the Cat's Paw Nebula, which is located 4,370 light-years away rom Earth.

NASA has captured pics of cosmic objects by the world's most powerful X-ray telescope.

The stunning images were released in honour of the 25th anniversary of the telescope's launch into space.

Another sprawling image shows Cassiopeia A, a remnant of a supernova 340 years ago. 

Chandra captured surreal cosmic objects for up to thousands of hours. 

Another image shows Chandra's 10 hours of beautifully observing the planet Jupiter.
