Step inside ex-Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's son Tarek Ghani's luxurious Rs 8 crore home in US

Exiled Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani's son Tarek Ghani was born in the United States and grew up in Maryland. He currently works as an economics professor at Washington University in St. Louis while his wife Elizabeth Pearson works as the legislative director for Senator Elizabeth Warren. 

Tarek Ghani is highly educated and has a bachelor's degree in International Security from Stanford University. He also has a Master's and Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley's Haas School of Business. 

Ashraf Ghani's son Tarek Ghani lives in a luxurious house in Washington DC along with his wife. Their large house is located just one mile from the Capitol. The townhouse's value stands at $1.2 million which is over Rs 8 crore in INR.

The house that Tarek Ghani lives in has three luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. All the furniture in the home is antique and of high value. The power couple reportedly bought the house for $959,000 in 2018.

Tarek Ghani is currently an assistant professor of strategy at the private Washington University in St Louis, where he lectures at the Olin Business School. He was recently spotted in the Logan Circle area of DC, according to a Daily Mail report. He visited a watch and leather goods store before joining a friend at a coffee shop.

After graduating from Stanford, Tarek Ghani lived in Afghanistan and also worked with his father Ashraf Ghani for a few days. He was living in Afghanistan for about a year before he returned to the United States.
