The 20-year-old whos shot gun at  during Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to sources cited by the New York Post. The media outlet also stated that Crooks was placed more than 130 yards from the stage at the Butler Farm Show grounds, on the roof of a manufacturing facility.

According to the New York Post, which cited sources, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, has been identified as the person who discharged a gun during Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally. According to the media site, Crooks was placed on a manufacturing plant's roof around 130 yards from the Butler Farm Show grounds' stage. The suspect's identity has not yet been verified by the Secret Service, which is in charge of the inquiry.

The New York Post claims that Crooks is headquartered in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Outside the event, he fired from a building's rooftop. Trump was slightly hit in the ear by one bullet. According to confirmation from the Secret Service and his campaign, the former president is "okay" and got medical attention. A number of media publications reported that the suspect was taken out after receiving gunfire from Secret Service personnel, using photos obtained from law enforcement officials. Two more people were hurt at the event, in addition to at least one spectator.


Members of Trump's family expressed support for the presumed Republican nominee in 2024. "Thank you for your love and prayers for my father and for the other victims of today’s senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania. I am grateful to the Secret Service and all the other law enforcement officers for their quick and decisive actions today. I continue to pray for our country. I love you Dad, today and always.”
