Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor's first film together 'Sanju' continues to break box office records with each passing day!
Sanjay Dutt's biopic is unstoppable at the box office. Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani who gave Dutt one of the most lovable characters of his career with 'Munnabhai' has narrated the story of his troubled life and times with love and fabulous storytelling. Ranbir Kapoor's unbelievable makeover for the role of Dutt had left everyone impressed ever since the trailer is out and the film proved once again that he is one of the best actors among the current lot.
Sanju's box office innings has testified audience's love for Rajkumar Hirani's brand of cinema, Ranbir Kapoor's acting prowess backed by the stellar star cast of Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh. Right from Day 1 of its release 'Sanju' has been breaking box office records and continues to do so even on a weekday. The film has already been named the biggest opener of 2018, highest opener in Ranbir Kapoor's career so far over the first weekend of its release.
On Monday, 'Sanju' has raked in a whopping amount of Rs 27 crores, creating another record of being the highest earning for any film on non-holiday Monday. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the news on Twitter.
With Sanju's worldwide release and a phenomenal opening has again proved to be a career-saving game for Ranbir Kapoor.
While talking about the same, trade analyst Atul Mohan shares, "After resurrecting Sanjay Dutt's career with Munna Bhai franchise, Miracle maker Rajkumar Hirani boosts Ranbir Kapoor's filmography with Sanju, giving Ranbir the highest opener of his career".
