Pooja Pihal's prayers couldn't save her show

Pooja Pihal, who is currently seen in Hum Aap Ke Hai In-laws is a devout Ganapati bhakth, so much so that she has made a small mandir in her make-up room on the set. In fact, whichever show she does, (earlier she was part of Pavitra Rishta), she makes it a point to carry her little mandir along with her. Says Pooja, “I feel the atmosphere where we work should have a positive aura, which is why I create a small mandir in my room with idols of a goddess and Ganapati.” However, looks like her faith and prayers could not stop her serial from going off air.

Says Pooja, “It was the first time I was doing comedy and I enjoyed it. Even feedback for the show was good but somehow it didn’t translate into good TRPs (Television Rating Points).” As for her next outing, the actress known for her roles with negative shades in Pavitra Rishta and Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum is now looking to do a dance-based reality show. “I wish I was approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, as I am extremely fond of dancing,” she says. As for now, once the show ends, Pooja is planning to take a break and have fun on the beaches of Goa.
