In a video tape circulated on social media, Brijbhushan Rajput alias Guddu Raja, a BJP MLA from Charkhari in Mahoba district of Bundelkhand, is seen as threatening to stop Muslims from going to Haj if they create any hurdles in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

In the tape, which is not yet been verified by any agency at the time this story went to press, the BJP MLA said, "India belongs to Hindus and not Muslims."

"Those who attacked Amarnath pilgrims should be killed. We, 100 crore Hindus, will kill them one by one whenever we want. They need not be driven out the country," he stated as threatening in the tape to members of minority community.

"Our government gives subsidy to them (Muslims). We do not object to it. In the coming days we will construct Ram temple, and if Muslims tried to stop us then we will not allow them go to Mecca and Medina. Being your MLA, I will take initiative in this regard," he is shown as saying in the tape.

"If Hindus can't construct temple then why should we allow Haj pilgrim. They should also be prevented from carrying subsidized Haj yatra. They are 20 crore of total population then how come they be treated as minority and given all benefits. Even Pakistan does not have 20 crore Muslims. All benefits being given to them by the government should be stopped at once," he stated in the tape, veracity of it is still not been confirmed by any agency.
