NCC represents movement for peace: Iqbal Singh

The National Cadet Corps  represents movement for peace and constructive engagement for building an India where youth can play a more positive role for cause of society and nation, Puducherry Lt Governor Iqbal Singh said.

The vision of India becoming a world leader could be made possible only by the youth of today. `NCC inculcated among the
youth enduring values of our republic, our civilization and our composite culture`, he said today, felicitating a contingent of NCC cadets who had taken part in the Republic day camp and Prime Minister's rally at Delhi.

The contingent is attached to the directorate of NCC (Puducherry, Tamilnadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands). 

Col DP Singh, Group Commander of NCC Puducherry highlighted the contingent's various activities at the camp. 

Lt Governor presented mementos to all members of the 150-strong contingent.
