Alleging delay in implementation of the prime ministers employment package, a group of Kashmiri Pandit youths in Jammu today left for Kashmir to stage demonstration in front of chief minister Omar Abdullah's residence in Srinagar.

"We will hold protest rally in front of Abdullah's residence and gherao it in protest against failure and delay tactics in implementation of PM's Employment package for Kashmiri Pandit youths", Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) President RK Bhat said.

The aim of rally is to lay stress on the chief minister to decide the future of Kashmiri youths, he said.

"Formal orders vis-a-vis implementation of prime minister's special package has been kept in abeyance without any potential reason and logic," he alleged.

Bhat alleged that in the current assembly session, no elected representative in the state legislature raised a question or voice in their favour because they gave no priority to anyone.

YAIKS has decided to directly approach the chief minister to seek answer to why they have been ignored and not give their due rights, Bhat added.

YAIKS demanded that keeping in view present situation in Kashmir valley, the government should utilize their services in the remaining parts of the state till normalcy may be restored.

He further demanded that the remaining 3000 jobs out of the total 6000 jobs under the prime minister's package should be provided to them either with seven years of age relaxation or one-time compensation of Rs25 lakh per youth.
