Representatives from some of India's best known law firms and investment banks on Sunday, played a 30-overs cricket match here to raise money for the victims of Mumbai terror attacks.

The match played at the Parsee Gymkhana at Marine Lines here was organised by International legal firm Dorsey & Whitney.

"Everyone should come together and fight it (terrorism) though it would take some time. But we all have to be determined to remove it," US Corporate lawyer with Dorsey & Whitney, Jamie Benson said.

"People in this country love cricket a lot and we thought of connecting with them in the way they like it. With this match we intend to raise a minimum donation of Rs 1,00,000," he said.

Benson, one of the survivors rescued during the of the 26/11 attacks, was trapped in his room at the Trident Hotel when the terrorists created havoc and brought Mumbai to a standstill.

"I spent nearly 38 hours and saw gunfight and exploding grenades. I was very grateful to be rescued alive," he said.
