Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was looking to give his AI Jarvis, a voice. Iron Man volunteered.

Zuckerberg took to Facebook and declared that he is indeed, working on a real-life version of Jarvis. He asked on his social-media platform, “It’s time to give my AI Jarvis a voice. Who should I ask to do it?”

Things got interesting when actor Robert Downey Jr replied, “I'll do in a heartbeat if Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch's choosing...that's the right kind of STRANGE!” Of course, Zuckerberg's immediate response was, “This just got real”.

For the non-Marvel fans, actor Robert Downey Jr. plays Iron Man while actor Paul Bettany is the voice of Jarvis, Iron Man/Tony Stark’s robot assistant and Benedict Cumberbatch stars in the upcoming “Dr. Strange.” Some of the other suggestions included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Samuel L. Jackson and Morgan Freeman.

As a part of Zuckerberg's personal challenge this year, he shared that he would want to build a simple AI to run his home and help him with his work. He said, “You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man.” His AI assistant is said to do simple tasks like open his gates, control the lights or change the temperature of his house.

Tech company rivals such as Google, Microsoft and Apple are all working on the advancement of AI. Sooner or later, it was expected to see Facebook join the gang and offer similar voice-based assistant to users as well.
