Silvio Berlusconi reportedly paid more than 2.5million pounds in cash to women invited to his bunga bunga parties, according to court documents.

The eye-watering payments were made to dozens of women and included several five and six figure sums, the Daily Mail reported.

The recipients of sums include several budding attractive starlets who later secured work on shows screened on the media tycoon’s numerous TV channels.

The documents form part of 65,000 pages in a corruption case related to a political ally of the Italian Prime Minister, and investigators have accessed several bank accounts used by both men.

The bank details reveal that among the women who were handsomely rewarded was Sabina Began  - who has been dubbed the Queen Bee -- as she is said to have organised several parties for Berlusconi.

Began was given 50,000 Euros in 2008 from his account.

Among other women who were paid were TV presenter Virginia Sanjust, who is rumoured to have had an affair with Berlusconi and who was given 150,000 Euros from his personal account.

Former beauty contestant Barbara Matera, who raised eyebrows after she went from TV to the European Parliament representing Berlusconi’s party without any political experience, was given 95,000 Euros.

A sum of 700,000 Euro was paid to actress Evelina Manna, who also claimed to have had a passionate relationship with Berlusconi and who was a regular at the parties he hosted.

Others include TV journalist Francesca Impiglia, who was rewarded 50,000 Euros while flame haired former Big Brother contestant Angela Sozio, who was snapped at the same time was paid 38,000 Euro.

The bank records also show how a luxury car dealership in Milan was given 236,000 Euros, and that several women who attended his now infamous bunga bunga parties, were given Minis as gifts.

Prosecutors have also discovered that women at the parties were given jewels as well.
