The Maharashtra government today assured the Bombay High Court that almost all the students in Mumbai region have got admission to std 11 through online process.

Pratap Sarnaik, Shiv Sena corporator, had filed a PIL alleging that thousands of students were yet to get admission even after trying three times due to flaws in the online system which was introduced this year.

However advocate general Ravi Kadam today told the High Court that almost everybody has got admission, and if anybody had any grievance, he/she could approach zonal committee.

More than 2,30,000 students have got admission through online system, Kadam said.
Court therefore disposed of the PIL, directing the deputy director of education to deal expeditiously with the complaints, if any.
