Narayan Sai fathered Jamuna's son: Wife

Narayan Sai’s troubles increased further on Tuesday after his wife, Janki, told the cops that he had fathered the eight-year-old son of Jamuna—his close aide. 

“Janki told us that Sai is the father of Jamuna’s son. The duo acted like a couple and used to visit different ashrams. He repeatedly raped Jamuna following which she became pregnant and gave birth to a child,” said police commissioner of Surat, Rakesh Asthaana.

He said that when Janki, alias Shilpadev Krishnani, came to know about her husband’s act, she cut all contacts with him. She has been living with her parents in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for past six years.

Earlier, Ganga—another aide of Sai and Jamuna’s sister—had made the claim of Sai being the father of her sister’s child. Janki’s statement has lent more credence to her allegation.

Janki, who got married to Sai in 1996, also revealed other important information to the cops, including his possible hide-outs and details of his trusted associates.

Police are now concentrating on the fresh leads.
