Honda Elevate deliveries commence, India’s cheapest automatic mid-size SUV

Honda Cars India Ltd has initiated mega delivery of its newly launched mid size SUV Honda Elevate. The first of these events saw the delivery of 100 Honda Elevate SUVs in Hyderabad to customers. This mega delivery event commences a series of similar events planned across major cities in coming days. Honda Cars India has planned to host several mega delivery events in various regions of the country.

Designed with the concept of 'Urban Freestyler', the Honda Elevate boasts a bold and masculine design and is equipped with a powerful 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine paired with 6-speed MT and 7-speed CVT automatic transmissions. Its spacious interiors and advanced safety features, including Honda SENSING's ADAS technology, ensure both comfortable and stress free drive. With four grades and ten vibrant colour combinations, the Honda Elevate offers a wide range of choices to customers.

Honda Elevate is available at an introductory price ranging from Rs 10,99,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 15,99,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-variant. Honda Elevate is now India's cheapest mid-size SUV with automatic transmission. The V variant of the Honda Elevate SUV with CVT gearbox is priced at Rs 13.20 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the cheapest automatic mid-size SUV in the country. Until now the title was held by Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The Honda Elevate comes with dimensions of 4312mm length, 1790mm width, 1650mm height, 2650mm wheelbase and a top-class ground clearance. It is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine generating 89 kW (121 PS) power and 145 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed Manual Transmission and a 7-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The SUV is claimed to offer fuel efficiency of 15.31 kmpl and 16.92 kmpl respectively.

Honda Elevate features full LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and LED Turn Indicator, LED taillamps and two-tone finish diamond cut R17 alloy wheels. It comes with a class-leading cargo space at 458L, an overwhelmingly spacious interior cabin, a 17.78cm (7-inch) high-definition full colour TFT meter cluster, a new floating type 26.03cm (10.25inch) In-Plane Switching (IPS) High-Definition (HD) resolution LCD touch-screen display audio and Wireless Smartphone Charger.
