If you are leaving town for a few days, and are looking for someone to care for your doggy with as much love and care as you do, look no further.

A Bangalorean entrepreneur, Srikanth Shankar, has put a unique concept into practice which ensures that your pet dog gets a loving and caring temporary foster home while you are away. And you can choose the foster home and family beforehand.

Shankar’s pet care service through a club called Anvis Inc, also includes dog-sitting at your own home, and dog-walking when you are in town but are too busy to attend to your dog.

“The whole concept of pet management is new in this country. As for now, we have three essential services like pet services, pet edutainment and pet products. We have members who own dogs, so we are busy facilitating our services with dogs,” says Shankar who heads Anvis Inc.

“I availed a foster home service wherein my dog was looked after by a family who loves pets but cannot afford to keep one. Now, I need not worry about my pet when I am out,” says Bennet Manuel, a pet owner and a member of Anvis. To avail the services, one has to become a member of this pet club.

The membership is through an annual deposit of Rs1,500, while a non-member can avail the services for Rs3,000 a month.
Both dog owners as well as dog lovers who cannot afford to keep dogs of their own, can become members of Anvis Inc. Those in the latter category are the ones who sign in to offer their premises as foster homes for the pets of those in the former category.

“I love big dogs, but I feel I cannot afford one. But through a club like this, I can find out if they know of some pet owner who wants a foster home. I can offer my services. Moreover I can also reach them (the pet club) whenever I want a dog for myself,” says Avishek Ghoshbag, a pet lover.
