16 years after their brawl over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi's philosophical question to Salman Khan

Vivek Oberoi was questioned what he would like to ask Salman Khan. To that, Vivek replied, "Do you truly believe in forgiveness?"

Vivek Oberoi has asked Salman Khan for forgiveness at more than one occasions. The actor, who was at a high point in his career, suddenly called for a press conference and claimed that Salman Khan threatened him for dating Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Even though there is no proof of this, Vivek Oberoi claims that Salman Khan called him 41 times and threatened to kill the 'Saathiya' actor. Vivek then called for a press conference making all the claims against the superstar.

At the same press conference, Vivek Oberoi also said that Salman Khan called him up and mentioned that he has physical relationships with top Bollywood actresses. The revelation was a starkling one, if true.

Vivek Oberoi, when he appeared on Farah Khan's show later, revealed that even though he went lengths for Aishwarya, she never appreciated him. In fact the actor even hinted that the press conference was at her insistence.

Post the incident, Vivek Oberoi not only lost Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but also started appearing in smaller film as compared to what he was being offered prior to the press conference.

Vivek Oberoi has more often than not mentioned about Salman Khan and the incident, especially during his movie promotions. He told Mumbai Mirror in 2017, “When my personal life got messed up, I couldn’t keep my eye on the ball. Even if I gave a hit, work wouldn’t follow. Shootout at Lokhandwala became a huge hit, but I sat at home for a year after that.” The actor is currently in news for his upcoming movie 'PM Narendra Modi'.
