In the latest episode of 'Koffee With Karan Season 6', the Bachchan siblings Abhishek and Shweta spilled some hot beans on their personal and professional lives. They shared anecdotes from their childhood and talked about the bond they share with their parents Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and also Abhishek's wife and Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

1. Why Jaya Bachchan hates being papped

Speaking about their mother Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan revealed why the Bachchan matriarch hates getting papped. She said, “She gets very claustrophobic when there are too many people around her. She also doesn’t like it when people take her pictures without asking her. She comes from that school of thought.”
To that, Abhishek Bachchan added that his mother also hates clicking selfies. Shweta explained that the veteran actor feels that she looks bad in selfies and that’s why she hates them.
2. Abhishek on his downfall

Abhishek also opened up about his film career and the downfall he faced. He said, “It’s tricky. It’s not the pressure of what was happening. It was more about how I was approaching my work which I thought was incorrect. I was becoming very complacent and unconformable.”
“I was part of huge films, huge budgets, huge stars, huge collections, everything was hunky-dory. I had no pressure as I was standing by the side or behind somebody else who was shouldering all the pressure. I was making lots of money. Those films were making lots of money. It became very easy. With all respect to my co-stars, I didn’t come to the industry to stand behind anyone,” he added.

It was revealed on the show that Abhishek Bachchan is his mother’s favourite,while Shweta shares a close bond with her father.
Shweta said that Jaya Bachchan’s eyes light up when Abhishek enters the room. She said, “She is exactly like her character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. She looks at Abhishek the way she looked at Shah Rukh Khan in the film.” Abhishek revealed, “Even if God comes down, if Shweta Di is there it’s all over! Nothing else matters to dad.”
4. Why Shweta doesn't want her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda to join the film industry

"I don't know what Navya's talent is. I feel, unless she's completely driven, passionate and talented, she has no business being here. Just because she's related to some famous people doesn't mean she has what it takes," Shweta said on the chat show.
When Karan Johar said that Shweta "drilled it" in Navya's head that the film industry is a "dark, strange and unstable place" because of which she may have never given films a shot at all, Shweta agreed and elaborated: "I think I was excessive (in my analysis). I think I was unfair. I think, I only thought selfishly." Explaining why she did what she did, Shweta said: "It's one of the bonuses from coming from a family that's involved in the movies. I'm seeing the second generation of actors in my family. I also know the heartbreaks and I think I know it really well. I see their faces when things don't work out... and I don't want yet another member of the family to be in the business."

In the rapid fire round, Karan asked Shweta to reveal what she loves, hates and tolerates about Aishwarya. She said she loves Aishwarya for being a ‘self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother’, hates her for not calling back on time and tolerates her time management, or lack thereof.
On his turn, Abhishek said he loves Aishwarya because she loves him, hates her packing skills and tolerates them too. He also said he would not like to change anything about his relationship with her.
Karan also asked the 'Manmarziyaan' star, who he fears the most - mother Jaya Bachchan or wife Aishwarya. When the actor chose his mother, Shweta immediately responded that it is actually his wife who is is more scared of.
6. Bachchans' Family Whatsapp group

The siblings revealed that their mother is the most active member on their family whatsapp group while Big B is the least active. They said that Jaya Bachchan sends preachy, sentimental morning messages every single day on the group while Shweta's son Agastya loves taking his mom's case. Shweta also admitted being obsessed with Whatsapp.
