Happy Birthday Farhan Akhtar: A look at actor's love story with ladylove Shibani Dandekar

The truly, madly, deeply in love couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar first met each other on the sets of a television show titled "I Can Do That'. It was hosted by none other than Farhan himself. Apparently, Shibani was a contestant on the show along with Gurmeet Choudhary, VJ Bani, Gauahar Khan, Mandira Bedi among others.

It was in September 2018, when Shibani took to her Instagram handle to post a photo of herself walking beside a 'mystery man' whose back was towards the camera, holding his hand, that sparked dating rumours between the two. Earlier, Farhan had been linked to co-star Shraddha Kapoor. 

Later, In October 2018, Farhan reposted the same photo that Shibani had shared -- of the 'mystery man' -- on his Instagram account with a 'heart' emoji as the caption, letting the world know that he was indeed in a relationship with the talented model-actress.

Even though Farhan had declared that Shibani indeed was his ladylove via a social media post that had nothing but a heart emoji as the caption, the duo thought of making it 'official' through a public appearance together which happened at actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding reception bash held on December 1 in Mumbai. The two lovebirds, dressed in their best attires, walked hand-in-hand and happily posed for the shutterbugs at the event. 

Ever since the two came out in public about their relationship, there was nothing stopping them from expressing love for each other in public by way of sharing lovely photos and dedicating romantic captions on social media.

Both Farhan and Shibani often take to their social media handles to share pictures of their awesome time together on vacations, shopping or just chilling in a pool, spending some quality with each other.
