Sibling Revelry: Arjun Kapoor-Janhvi Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor-Sonam K Ahuja, Athiya Shetty-Ahan Shetty

Arjun Kapoor has always doted on his sister Anshula Kapoor. The two shared a close bond during their growing up years and he has always been the responsible brother for his chhoti behen. Post Sridevi’s untimely demise, he has also warmed up to his stepsisters Janhvi and Khushi. While he has said that his bond with them is evolving and growing, he also maintained that it’s his responsibility to be a good son to his father Boney Kapoor and he had also got two more sisters.

Sonam K Ahuja shares a close bond with her siblings, particularly her baby brother Harshvardhan Kapoor. Even though marriage sees her travelling to Delhi and London, where her husband Anand S Ahuja has business interests, she maintains that absence makes the heart grow fonder. She and her sister Rhea dote on Harsh, while he has tattooed Sonam and Rhea’s names on his back. The Kapoor siblings will be celebrating Bhai Dooj in London, where Sonam is currently stationed with her hubby, having got a break from work.

For Athiya Shetty, her brother Ahan is a guiding force and she admits that his hard work and calm nature inspires her. Even though he is younger, she treats him like her elder brother. She has said, “I actually take advice from him. He gives me perspective, and teaches me the importance of being calm and secure in every phase of life. He’s extremely mature and though he is younger to me, I look up to him.”

Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth considers her an angel while she thinks he’s the kindest person she has ever met. This jodi of Kapoor siblings doesn’t have any ego hassles or any kind of competition between them. And though she is the younger one, she reportedly behaves like his older sibling. Revealing that she’s always giving him advice, Siddhanth is quoted as saying, “When I’m feeling a little low, she’ll take over like that mature and strong person who will take care of me since I’m the emotional sorts.”

During their childhood, Sonakshi Sinha would have a tough time complaining about her brothers Luv and Kush to their parents, if she fought with one of them. Nonethless, she shares a thick bond with the twins. When Luv’s Paltan was gearing up for release, the Dabangg actress spread the good word about him saying ‘My brother is a hero’. The Sinha siblings are known to take up for each other and it was evident when Luv stood by Sonakshi after singer Armaan Malik tweeted that actors should stop turning singers.

Shahid Kapoor, being the elder sibling who literally saw his stepsister Sanah (Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak’s daughter), growing up in front of him, has always been very protective of her. They have such a close bond that he’s the one in the family she feels she can call any time and share things that she can’t with her parents. Calling herself ‘lucky to have a brother like Shahid’, she has a good relationship with his wife Mira, too.
