Anupam Kher enjoys Gadar 2 in Gaiety Galaxy, heaps praise for Sunny Deol's film: 'It celebrates multi-culture facet...'

Anil Sharma-directed Gadar 2 is being loved by India, and the masses are enjoying Sunny Deol's action drama like anything. As the entire nation is feasting on Gadar 2, Anupam Kher also rejoiced to witness the latest blockbuster in the theatre. Anupam Kher has watched Gadar 2 in Mumbai's popular cinema Gaiety Galaxy and heaped praises on the massy entertainer. 

After watching the film, Anupam took his views about Gadar 2 to Twitter and penned down his review. In his post, Anupam shared a video recorded inside the cinema hall and clubbed it with a poster. Sharing the post, Anupam revealed that he revisited Gaiety Galaxy after 32 years, and wrote, "Just watched #Gadar2 in Gaiety/Galaxy theatre in Bandra. Last time I went to this single-screen theatre was for the premiere of my movie #Hum. #Gadar2 is a tsunami of emotions felt not only by the actors on screen but also by the audiences in the theatre. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of what it means to be a proud Indian. In fact, it celebrates the multi-culture/multi-religion facet of our country. It is cathartic. Crowds scream their guts out at every dialogue. @iamsunnydeol is not an actor anymore. He is cult in himself. He is on fire. And you feel the heat in your soul. 

Anupam thanked director Anil Sharma for bringing back the joy in cinema halls, and said,  "@iutkarsharma is fantastic with great promise. @manishwadhwa as Pak general is superb. Thank you @Anilsharma_dir for taking me on this raw joyride in a cinema hall. Jai Ho!"

As far as box office collections are concerned, in six days, Gadar 2 has collected Rs 261 crores. As per the official figures shared, the film earned over ₹ 55 crore on Tuesday. As per Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, this is the highest business a movie has ever registered on Independence Day. Anil Sharma-directed Gadar 2 is direct sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001).
