In a recent interview, Vishal Punjabi, also known as 'The Wedding Filmer', revealed a shocking incident wherein a top Bollywood actor was caught in a compromising position with a co-star just two months after his lavish wedding. The incident took place in the actor's vanity van where he was caught red-handed by his wife. This incident led to turmoil in their relationship and also for Vishal Punjabi who suffered professionally because of this incident.

Vishal Punjabi was left unpaid by the actor and his wife after this incident which also led to him changing his protocols.
"Back then, my contract stipulated 50% payment before and 50% after delivering the film. After this fiasco, I decided to charge 100% upfront," he said. Vishal Punjabi revealed that he still owns the footage in which "the groom is crying, saying, ‘I love you, baby’. You know they’re fake crocodile tears."
Who is Vishal Punjabi?
For those who are unaware, Vishal Punjabi, born in 1980, is a Ghanaian Indian film director and producer. He is the CEO of the Mumbai film production company, The Wedding Filmer. Born in Accra in Ghana, Vishal Punjabi migrated to England to complete his education. He then worked with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment as a line producer.
While working on his second film 'Main Hoon Na', Vishal Punjabi's passion for visual art changed the course of his life. He then put together visual effects productions for many films including 'Asoka', 'Main Hoon Na', Don', 'Paheli', and 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.'
After this Vishal Punjabi worked in the advertising division of Red Chillies Entertainment and directed and produced TV ads for many brands such as Hero Honda, Hyundai, Pepsi, ITC, Wipro, and ICICI Bank, among others.
He then established The Wedding Filmer in 2010 which is responsible for producing some of the best wedding films in the business including those of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, and Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra.
As per their website, The Wedding Filmer produces films as per customisation and charges Rs 10 lakh for a day. The cost also depends upon the size of the crew and is inclusive of other talent. "Added services such as a personalised soundtrack, 360 videos, aerial videography, on-site edits, and any other special requirements would be an additional cost," the website states.
