Chhichhore: Sushant Singh Rajput and Tahir Raj Bhasin bond over cricket

Sushant Singh Rajput and Tahir Raj Bhasin will be seen together in Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore. The two actors bonded over the game of cricket during the shoot. The Kai Po Che star has already done a biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Tahir plays the role of a sports champion in Chhichhore.

A source says, “Tahir plays Sushant’s senior in Chhichhore and they will be shown as best of friends. Sushant and Tahir spent a lot of time together and bonded over their mutual love for music, books, and most importantly cricket. Sushant gave him valuable tips on grasping the mannerism of cricket that he learned while prepping for Dhoni that could be applied by Tahir as he was also shooting for  Kabir Khan’s ‘83. Sushant’s tips proved very helpful for Tahir as he had never played cricket professionally.”

The Mardaani actor also praised Sushant and said, “Sushant is a gem of a person and I can’t thank him enough for all the tips he gave me to perfect my cricket prep. I found those extremely important and crucial while preparing to play the role of Sunil Gavaskar in ‘83. Over the course of filming Chhichhore, Sushant and I became good friends and I’m sure we will continue being so always.”
