How Salman Khan inspired Sonakshi Sinha to lose weight by revealing his 'Dabangg' casting!

About nine years back, Sonakshi Sinha entered the world of Bollywood with Salman Khan starrer Dabangg in which she played his on-screen wife Rajjo. Sonakshi became an instant hit and there was no turning back for her. She went on to work in several blockbuster and masala films. Moreover, she even reprised her role as Rajjo in Dabangg 2 released in 2012. And now after seven years, she will once again be seen in the same role in Dabangg 3.

Sonakshi has always been open about her weight loss journey and it is truly commendable. She is currently one of the fittest and stylish actors we have in the industry. But did you know it was Salman who suggested her to lose weight so as to be a part of Dabangg? Yes, during her recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Sona shared the interesting story of how at a fashion show, Salman told her about it.

The Akira actor stated, "He strolled up to me and suggested I lose weight as he was looking forward to casting me in his movie."

Sonakshi went on to reveal and said that Salman had asked for a treat if she becomes a part of the film. She added, "I had only Rs 3000 in my wallet that day and I was too embarrassed to take him out."

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudheva and is slated to release on December 20, 2019.

Currently, Sonakshi is busy with the promotions of her soon-to-be-released film Khandaani Shafakhana.
