Staying relevant in the film industry is not easy for everyone. Whether you come from a superstar family or are an outsider, one has to be consistent to be by the fans. In the Kapoor family, Rishi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor were successful stars, but Rajiv Kapoor didn't achieve similar success.

Similarly, Abhishek Bachchan, son of Amitabh Bachchan, also didn't gain much recognition despite being talented. Many celebrities have faced similar struggles and have been unsuccessful in their careers.

Here, we're talking about an evergreen actor's son who didn't get much recognition. He started his career as a child artist in films starring opposite Sridevi.

The actor's name is Kunal Goswami, who debuted opposite Sridevi in the film Krantiveer in 1981. In this film, he acted alongside prominent actors like Dilip Kumar and Shashi Kapoor. Kunal Goswami played the lead actor in both Ghoonghat and Kalakaar. Both films were released in 1983.

In Kalakaar, he starred opposite Sridevi in the lead role. Although Kalakaar was a flop, its song Neele Neele Ambar Par became a super hit. Afterward, Kunal Goswami acted in films like Yuvaraj, Do Gulab, Aakhri Baazi, Pap Ki Duniya, and several others, but all these films continued to flop.

Throughout his 20-year film career, he did not deliver a single solo hit. In 1999, Kunal Goswami's superstar father Manoj Kumar directed the film Jai Hind and cast his son in the lead role. However, this film also turned out to be a flop. Due to the inability to find success with any of his films, Kunal Goswami decided to quit the film industry in 1999.

In 2000, Kunal Goswami appeared in the DD National show Alag-Alag, but he did not find success in the television industry either. Despite having a superstar father, he was unable to establish his own identity in the industry.

In 2005, Kunal Goswami married Paheli Goswami and started a catering business in Delhi. According to reports, he has been running this business successfully and earning millions from it.
