Belonging to a film family and being related to superstars does not give any guarantees of success. This was proved right by Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia's daughter Rinke Khanna who entered the film industry with pomp and show but could not her their father's legacy forward in terms of acting. Rajesh Khanna's daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna both tried their luck in films but failed miserably.

While Twinkle Khanna is an author now and is married to Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, her sister Rinke Khanna is living an anonymous life, away from the film world.

Let us tell you that Rinke Khanna made her Bollywood debut in 1999 with the film 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi'. The film was a super flop but established Rinke Khanna as a leading actress. Rinke Khanna was then seen in 'Jis Desh Me Ganga Rehta Hai' opposite Govinda, 'Yeh Hai Jalwa', 'Pran Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye', 'Jhankar Beats', and 'Chameli' but they were all flops and eventually sank the actress's career.

Rinke Khanna quit after only 4 years in the film world. After giving six back-to-back flop films, in 2003, she quit acting. Rinke Khanna moved to the UK after getting married to millionaire businessman Samir Saran.

Rinke Khanna now lives in the UK with her husband and two children but often visits Mumbai to meet her sister Twinkle Khanna and her mom Dimple Kapadia.
