Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are two superstars of Hindi cinema who enjoy a huge fan following. If the reports are to be believed, the actors are going to reunite on screen for a new project after 17 years. This news has created a frenzy among their fans.
An entertainment portal Instant Bollywood took to their Instagram and shared a photo of Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan with the text, “coming soon after 17 years.” The portal captioned the post, “Don 1 & 2 to come together for a Project after 17 years.”
This left fans excited and some of them speculated that the two superstars might be coming together for Don 3 and some even demanded their cameos in the movie. One of the comments read, “What if there are three dons coming together in the upcoming Don 3?” Another wrote, “Don 3 please.” Another wrote, “Don 3 for sure.” Some also speculated if they are coming together for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 2.
According to News18, a source told the portal that there is an interesting project in the works where Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will once again be sharing the screen together but not many details have been disclosed as of now.
If the reports are true, it will be a celebration for Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. The duo has already worked together in movies like Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, the film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 7. The actor also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in the pipeline which also stars Taapsee Pannu and is slated to release in theatres in December.
Amitabh Bachchan on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his film Ganapath: Part 1 which also stars Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is scheduled to release on October 20. He also has Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD in the pipeline which also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani and is scheduled to release next year.
