One such person is Leena Tewari, chairperson of privately held USV India. The company was set up by her late father Vithal Gandhi with Revlon in 1961. Today, it has a revenue of  Rs 42650998250, as per Forbes. USV is based in Mumbai and specializes in diabetic and cardiovascular drugs. 

Leena is the richest Indian woman in the healthcare sector, as per the Forbes real-time billionaire list. She has a real-time net worth of USD 3.1 billion, which is around Rs 25870 crore. The 66-year-old is a media-shy person and stands at the 1033 spot on Forbes real-time billionaire list. 

Leena holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She also did an MBA from Boston University. Tewari loves animals and travels into forests across India. She is married to Prashant Tewari, who helps her run the company. He is an IIT grad and mechanical engineer from Cornell. The duo have two kids -- Vilas Gandhi Tewari and Dr. Aneesha Gandhi Tewari. Both have a board seat at USV. Leena's USV acquired German generics firm Juta Pharma for an undisclosed sum in 2018.
