Virat Kohli’s business partner and billionaire Sanjiv Goenka runs the conglomerate RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, which is headquartered in Kolkata and is one of the leading conglomerates in the country. Goenka and Kohli share a strong business relationship, and have partnered in multiple ventures.

In 2017, the Virat Kohli Foundation and RP Sanjiv Goenka group came together to host the Indian Sports Honours Awards, a commemoration ceremony to celebrate important personalities and contributors to sports. Apart from this, they also organized a celebrity golf tournament together in the same year.

Not just holding sports ventures together, Virat Kohli is also the face of a popular snack brand run by Sanjiv Goenka. Kohli is the brand ambassador of Too Yumm!, a healthy snack food firm of RP Sanjv Goenka Group, run by the billionaire’s son Shashwat.

Sanjiv Goenka’s company RPSG Group has recorded a revenue of over USD 4 billion (Rs 33,000 crore), according to Forbes, and the billionaire himself has a net worth of USD 2.8 billion (Rs 22,400 crore).

Apart from being a successful business magnate, Sanjiv Goenka has also secured major capital in the sports industry. While being Virat Kohli’s business partner, Goenka owns the rival Indian Premier League (IPL) of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Sanjiv Goenka’s RPSG Group is the owner of IPL team Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), which is one of the most valued IPL teams of all time. Sanjiv Goenka bought the LSG IPL team in the auction for a whopping RS 7090 crore.
