However, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans cannot keep calm and desperately want Suresh Raina to come back.

He, however, had recently posted a video on Instagram of him working out and it made fans wonder if he was preparing for donning the CSK jersey.

Since the UP cricketer has not given an official comment if he is making a comeback, fans who want him to play statted trending #ComeBackMrIPL on social media.

After Suresh Raina returned to India from the UAE after opting out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, several reasons are being cited and rumours doing the rounds.

One of the news making the rounds was that he returned because of his children while a few suggested that his uncle was killed in Punjab.

However, some stated it was due to the hotel room. As per IANS' sources, "It was a stupid reason, nothing much. He was not happy with the room given to him. It all started when he came to the UAE, along with the team. Other CSK members tried to convince him but he didn`t listen to anybody".
