2.Australia's Ricky Ponting
Next on the list is the ex-captain of Australia Ricky Ponting. The Aussies under his captaincy played 77 Tests of which he got them to victory on 48 occasions while they lost 16 games.
3.Australia's Steve Waugh
Third on the list as the most successful captain is again Australia's ex-skipper Steve Waugh. The cricketer had captained 57 games and won 41 matches and losing just 9.
4.India's Virat Kohli
Here is where the Indian skipper Virat Kohli stands - on the fourth spot. The man after the win at Lord's saw him win 37 matches of his 63 games and lost 15 of them.
