During the ongoing 3rd ODI between Australia and India in Rajkot, the scorching heat posed a challenge for the Australian team. However, amidst the struggle, Indian batsman Virat Kohli found a moment to inject some lightheartedness into the game by teasing Marnus Labuschagne.

As the star Australian batter, Steve Smith, sought relief by placing an ice pack on his head, Virat Kohli seized the opportunity to engage in some playful banter with the Australian players. The incident quickly gained attention when a video of the exchange went viral.

This amusing episode unfolded during the drinks break, when members of the Australian team emerged from the dugout carrying a yellow chair and an ice pack. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav was seen engaged in conversation with Adam Zampa, who had been rested by the Australian team for this particular match.

Smith had a promising start to his series, scoring a respectable 41 in Mohali. Unfortunately, his luck took a turn for the worse in the 2nd ODI in Indore, as he was dismissed without scoring a single run.

Nevertheless, the ex-Australian captain displayed determination and purpose when he stepped onto the field in Rajkot. He wasted no time in making his mark, achieving a remarkable half-century in just 43 balls. However, his impressive innings came to an end when he fell victim to Mohammed Siraj's LBW appeal, departing after a commendable 74 runs off 61 deliveries.

In a strategic move, returning captain Pat Cummins elected to bat first after winning the toss. The opening duo of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh set the stage on fire with an explosive start. Warner led the charge with a blistering 34-ball 56, showcasing his prowess with the bat. However, his impressive innings was cut short by Prasidh Krishna.

Subsequently, Steve Smith and Marsh formed a formidable partnership, amassing a remarkable 137 runs off just 120 deliveries. Marsh came tantalizingly close to reaching the coveted century mark, falling short by a mere 4 runs. Despite their valiant efforts, the Men in Yellow have suffered resounding defeats in the first two games of the ODI series.

Nevertheless, the ongoing match holds immense significance for the team as they strive to regain their form ahead of the highly anticipated 2023 World Cup. With a string of five consecutive ODI losses, this game serves as a crucial opportunity for them to bounce back and reestablish their dominance on the international stage.
