While cricket fans patiently wait for the ODI World Cup 2023 squad announcement for Team India, the whopping ticket prices for the much-awaited India vs Pakistan match has ended up stunning cricket fans across the globe!
According to multiple websites, a South West Bay ticket for the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match in the ODI World Cup 2023, set to take place in Ahmedabad, is being sold for a whopping price of Rs 19.5 five lakhs, stunning cricket fans in the country.
The exact price of the India vs Pakistan ticket is Rs 19,51,580 each, including the cost of shipping and home delivery. These tickets are being sold on viagogo, which is a global ticket-selling platform for sporting events. Only 100 tickets of the clash are now available for sale on the platform.
However, the official ticketing partner of the ODI World Cup 2023, Bookmyshow.com, saw the India vs Pakistan tickets being sold out within minutes of the release. Further, the prices on viagogo for the epic cricket clash start from Rs 66,000, with the range constantly fluctuating.
On the same website, the prices of the India vs Australia match for the World Cup 2023 start from Rs 31,000 but go as high as Rs 9 lakh. Meanwhile, the ticket prices for India vs England match for the upcoming World Cup are going over Rs 2.3 lakh per ticket.
While the prices for other matches in the World Cup 2023 are not as high and are in the range of Rs 1000 to Rs 10,000, the surge pricing rate has been applied for all Team India matches, keeping in mind the demand and the crazy fan following.
However, it must be known that BookMyShow has already flagged the ticketing platform viagogo for selling the India vs Pakistan tickets since the former is the official ticketing platform of the ODI World Cup 2023.
