Team India's captain, Rohit Sharma, along with Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, were honored by billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani for their victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. The prestigious event took place during the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Friday, July 6.

Sharma, Hardik, and Suryakumar were among the esteemed cricketers present at the lavish sangeet ceremony celebrating Anant and Radhika. These three players played pivotal roles in securing India's second T20 World Cup title by defeating South Africa in the final at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.

The entire Indian cricket team gathered in Mumbai for an open-top bus victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium. They delighted fans with a victory lap after being honored by the BCCI in front of a massive crowd.

Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav, who all represent Mumbai Indians in the IPL, were personally congratulated by the Ambani family during the sangeet ceremony of Anant and Radhika. A heartwarming video capturing the moment went viral on social media, showing the Ambani family embracing and congratulating the trio for their remarkable achievement in the T20 World Cup.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team finally ended a 13-year World Cup drought and an 11-year ICC titles drought. The victory against South Africa in the T20 World Cup Final marked the completion of India's unbeaten run throughout the tournament. India was the only team to maintain an undefeated record in the T20 World Cup 2024.
