CGBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021: Chhattisgarh Board exam schedule for class 12 released, students to take exams from home

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released the exam schedule of CGBSE class 12 board amid rising COVID-19 cases in India. According to the latest notification of the board, students will be able to take the class 12 exams while sitting at home. For this, students will receive question papers and answer sheets from their respective centres and will have to submit answer sheets within 05 days of receiving the question paper.

For instance, if a student gets a question paper on June 1 from the centre, then the students have to physically go and submit their answer sheets by June 6 to their schools.

Students will get question papers and answer sheets of selected subjects from June 1 to June 5. If a student is unable to submit the answer book within the stipulated time, he/ she will be considered absent from the examination. Students must also record their attendance while submitting the answer sheets.

According to an order issued late Saturday evening by CGBSE Secretary VK Goyal, the board has decided to conduct tests in this pattern in view of the Covid-19 epidemic across the state and the safety of more than 2.86 lakh students. The order states that students of class 12th will be given five days from June 1 to June 5 to collect question papers and blank answer sheets from the designated centres.

Amid rising coronavirus cases in Raipur and other parts of Chhattisgarh, CGBSE had cancelled Class 10 Board Exams 2021. The secondary (class 10) exam were scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1, said Chhattisgarh Board CGBSE, adding that the decision has been taken due to a surge in coronavirus cases.

Chhattisgarh Board had recently declared CGBSE class 10 Result without conducting any exam. The marks allotted to the students were based on the internal assignments.
