In the last week of October, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2021 counselling on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). NEET-UG counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH, and BSc Nursing courses will be held in 2021.
The official website mcc.nic.in will provide a link to the NEET counselling registration round one. Aspirants must input their personal, academic, NEET-UG, contact, and other information to register for the first round of NEET counselling in 2021. The NEET 2021 counselling registration cost must be paid online by students.
Aspirants must fill out the selections of colleges and courses for admission during the MCC NEET counselling 2021. NEET-UG seat allotment will take place after the registration procedure, and will be based on NEET results, choices made, seat availability, reservation criteria, and other factors. Around 20,089 seats will be filled through NEET counselling under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), which includes all deemed/central institutions, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges.

On September 12, NEET 2021 was held for admission to 83,075 MBBS seats, 26,949 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, 603 BVSc & AH seats, 1,899 AIIMS seats, and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats.

Round 1 and Round 2 of AIQ online counselling will be conducted by the authorities. Except for the Union Territory of J&K, all applicants who have qualified for All India Quota seats based on their NEET UG result 2021 rank would be eligible. The NTA website, ntaresults.nic.in, has the rank letter/ NEET 2021 result available for download. The MCC website will also have the NEET cutoff rank of qualified candidates (www.mcc.nic.in). The seats that remain vacant after round 2 of AIQ's NEET 2021 counselling will be returned to the states.
The AIQ of NEET counselling 2021 includes:
Admissions to MBBS/BDS programmes at AIQ, deemed/central universities, and ESIC/AFMS institutes in the country are made through the MCC counselling procedure, which is based on NEET UG scores. Applicants who pass the NEET exam are able to apply for these medical programmes. There are two forms of NEET counselling offered by the NTA: all-India and state-based. The NEET UG counselling process is for the seats listed below.
MCC Counselling for All India Quota Seats: The AIQ NEET 2021 counselling process will be used to fill 15% of seats in all Government medical and dental colleges, all seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) & AFMC, including Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, and AIIMS & JIPMER. It should be mentioned that J & K are not involved in this procedure.
NEET UG Counselling for State Quota Seats: The state NEET counselling 2021 process will be used to fill 85 percent of seats in government colleges in the state, as well as all seats in private unaided/aided minority/non-minority medical/dental colleges.
Details with respect to the process:
The AIQ constituted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) for the National Medical Council conducts the exams. Each state has certain number of seats reserved which fall under the State quota. The seat intake by various colleges is: AIQ- 15% of government seats, 100% of Deemed and Central University seats, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMs, and JIPMER seats are available through AIQ. State Quota consists of 85 percent of government seats and 100 percent of private seats.
