The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2021 entrance exam will be conducted on Sunday (September 12) with over 16 lakh candidates set to appear for NEET 2021 entrance exam across the country. The NEET 2021 entrance exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm across 202 cities. It is to be noted that strict COVID-19 guidelines will be followed during NEET 2021 entrance exam and there will be anti-cheating mechanisms in place too.

It is learnt that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is using jammers and CCTV cams besides invigilators as security measures. Further, there are many rules which students appearing for NEET 2021 entrance exam need to follow. 

Students should go through the important guidelines such as dress code and prohibited items before going to exam centre.

NEET 2021 dress code

Female candidates are not allowed to wear full sleeves, clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches, or large buttons.

Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted while shoes are banned

Jewellery such as earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and anklets are not allowed.

Male candidates should wear half sleeve shirts, T-shirts, trousers and simple pants. Full sleeve shirts are not allowed.

Zip pockets, big buttons, and clothes with elaborate embroidery are not prohibited.

Closed shoes are not allowed.

All candidates must wear a face mask and hand gloves.

NEET 2021: Prohibited Items

Any stationery item, communication device, accessories, eatables, ornaments, or any other material or information relevant or not relevant to the examination in the paper.

Water bottles, tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks, etc. are strictly prohibited. But diabetic candidates are allowed to carry the eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles.
