Abhishek celebrates 33rd birthday with family in New York

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan ushered in his 33rd birthday with his family in New York on Thursday.
    
Abhishek, who recently wrapped up the shooting of Mani Ratnam's Ravan in the forests of Madhya Pradesh, flew to New York to be with his wife Aishwarya Rai for the premiere of her English film Pink Panther 2.
    
His parents Amitabh and Jaya, who were till recently in Davos and London, also joined the couple.
    
The actor is awaiting his forthcoming release Delhi-6, opposite Sonam Kapoor, in hope that the film directed by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra clicks at the box office. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on February 20.
    
Abhiskek's last film Dostana, an average success, earned him praise from critics who labeled it as his best performance till date.

The actor, who made his debut opposite Kareena Kapoor in J P Dutta's Refugee (2000), had a dismal start to his career as his first 17 films flopped at the box-office.
