For actress Mahima Chaudhary, it's like a second coming as she returns to television, a medium from where she began her career in the glamour world.

The actor may not be seen in films lately, but she's all set to occupy the judge's seat in the new season of Chhote Miyan.

Ask her how it feels to be back in front of the camera and she says, "It feels so good to be back!" Her last film Pusher came in 2010, after which Mahima remained absent from the Bollywood scene for a while. "There were limited opportunities and I was raising a child," the Pardes actr explains. But she couldn't stop gushing about the kids she is judging, as part of the show. She explains, "Watching them live is so nice and they are so professional!"

The actress also talks about politics and it's connection with the business of glamour. "Yes, nowadays (political) parties want celebrities to campaign for them. It's a country driven by celebs, and if more celebrities campaign, then awareness levels among the masses also rise. My grandmother used to be in politics and hence I also campaigned for Congress. If you see, in Uttar Pradesh, for the last few elections, the percentage of voters have gone up thanks to celebrities campaigning for various parties," Mahima explains.

Apart from politics, Mahima recently tied up with PETA and Fashion Design Council of India to advocate the cause of releasing animals caged in zoos across the country. "Animals are so much better in their natural habitat. Zoos should be made obsolete," she adds.
