Ranaut says people are hungry for real life characters and stories and not just "saris and hair flowing in the wind".

In an earlier interview with Anna Vetticad, Kangna Ranaut opened up about being an outsider in Bollywood to becoming a poised woman of substance, nine years after entering the film industry.
In the second part of the interview, Ranaut shares her contribution as an actress and believes the landscape of Indian cinema has changed and so has its audiences."We want to see real stuff and I think that's where I contributed," she says.
